Loopn Errors

This section lists Instream errors at each loop level. The example above is an 837I and shows an error in Loop1. By referring to the list of loop numbers in ApplicationDocTables.pdf, we can see that it is in the Provider loop.

There may be other external systems listed below Instream with similar information.

Click here to View the document

If this link is active, you can use it to view the document data in a form. To be viewable in a form, EDI data (not just a validation results file) must have been processed by TI. See Maintaining your Account.

If the EDI transaction has no form, then this link takes you directly to the raw EDI for that document.

Tabs at the bottom

Depending on your TI configuration, you may also see these tabs at the bottom, which display values from or about this document. These are enabled by your TI administrator with the ShowDocumentSummaryDetails setting in Web.config.

§ External Identifiers

This displays the document’s external identifier(s).

An external identifier is a unique ID for this document. It lets you use the Search Document page’s External Identifer Search tab to find a specific document by its ID.  Please see External_Identifiers.pdf for details.

§ Extended Fields

This displays the document’s extended field values.

An extended field is one that your TI host may choose to import for this transaction set. You can display them on the Transmissions page by clicking the Choose Fields link at the top.

Information designated as confidential by your TI host is blocked unless you have permission to see it.

§ Transaction Filter Values

This displays the document’s transaction filter values.

Transaction Filters appear under the Documents, Document Volumes, Success Rate, and Search Documents pages and can be used to filter based on specific information in the data.

Information designated as confidential by your TI host is blocked unless you have permission to see it.

If you are on a team, you can see a similar document summary screen with a button that lets you edit the data. Please see Document Summary Page via My Tasks.
